Finland-based Tamtron, which claims to be the only manufacturer of fully digitalised wheel loader scales, has developed a new Internetbased service for collecting, reporting and transferring weighing data for its i-series scales.
After the purchase of a Tamtron PKV Pro 300i wheel loader scale the device can be easily connected to an online service. The scale is equipped with a SIM card that is inserted during the normal installation, after which the scale is immediately ready for use. Weighing data are transferred to Tamtron’s on-line weighing server, thus allowing the customer easy access to weighing information at any location, where Internet connection is available. Upon subscription Tamtron issues a confidential ID and password that enable exploring and reporting the weighing data of the wheel loaders in question.
