Spanish general cargo operator AGP (Agrupaciones Generales Portuarios) is to invest €4M (US$5.24M) in a new terminal for the unloading and storage of clinker at the Port of Gijón, in northern Spain.
AGP, owned by the Algeposa and Ruiz de Velasco companies, plans to build a dome-shaped storage facility capable of holding 65,000t that will be linked to the quayside. The clinker will be distributed to central Spain twice a month....
