Spain-based TAIM Weser SA (formerly TAIM-TFG SA) has been awarded a contract to install conveyor belts and a ship loader for phosphate at the future Bayóvar port in Peru. This is a project of Miski Mayo, a Peruvian subsidiary of Brazilian company Vale (Vale Do Río Doce). The ship loader is rated at 3500 tph.
And in an unrelated development, TAIM-Weser has announced that it has already started to build a rail-mounted grain loader for Grand Port Maritime de Marseille. This will be installed at the Gloria del Puerto de San Luis dock, 40 km from the city of Marseilles....
