AEP picks up Enron pieces

As the dust begins to settle following the collapse of Enron, the world's largest electricity and gas trader, coal shipments are expected to remain largely unaffected.

AEP Energy Services Ltd, the European wholesale energy marketing and trading subsidiary of American Electric Power, has acquired existing Enron contracts from PriceWaterhouseCoopers. The latter was appointed as the administrators of Enron Capital & Trade Resources Ltd, which was forced to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US at the end of November....
