AWB Ltd and Pacific National have unveiled 51 new grain wagons, as part of an A$100 mill investment in the New South Wales grain industry.
The investment, announced last year by the NSW government, AWB and Pacific National (then FreightCorp), includes construction of two Grain Consolidation Facilities (GCFs) at Stockinbingal and Werris Creek, new wagons and refurbishment of existing grain wagons. The new, larger rail wagons, which have been purchased by AWB and leased to Pacific National, will complement the new GCFs to drive down freight costs, the companies say....
