New Jersey-based K-Tron International, has bought out the Pennsylvania Crusher Corporation (PCC) and its whollyowned subsidiary, Jeffrey Specialty Equipment Corporation, for a consideration of US$23.5mill.
According to K-Tron chairman and CEO Edward B Cloues II, the new acquisitions complement the existing K-Tron portfolio of companies since PCC and Jeffrey serve "very different materials handling markets than KTron does." Both companies boast a strong cash flow, driven largely by a steady replacement parts business," he said....
