The new company arising from the takeover of Takraf by Tenova, the bulk materials handling equipment division of Techint Group, has won important new orders. In February Tenova Takraf Italy, through Tenova’s Brazilian affiliate, was awarded a contract by Vale (formerly CVRD) for a 20,000 tph stacker and a 10,000 tph reclaimer for its iron ore terminal in São Luís, and a separate contract for two 16,000 tph stackers for the iron ore mine at Carajás....
