Agro-Maas builds for Ukraine grain

Agro-Maas NV, the Belgian stevedoring company with growing operations in Eastern Europe, has started construction of a grain handling terminal at the Ukrainian river port of Kremenchuk, some 250 km down the Dnieper from the country’s capital of Kiev.

According to Agro-Maas executive director Ronny Maas, the new terminal will be capable of one-time storage of up to 30,000t and handling of 700-800 t/h of grain upon its completion, which is scheduled for July 2010.
