Bulk traffic lifts British ports

Coal imports are boosting the UK’s major bulk ports while agribulks are improving smaller ports’ prospects.

Associated British Ports (ABP) has probably the widest port coverage of any port operating company in Europe, with some 24 separate ports throughput Great Britain under its management. Its portfolio encompasses major ports such as Immingham, the UK’s largest dry cargo port by tonnage, as well as much smaller facilities, such as Silloth.
