Cereals and cement boost pneumatics

The pneumatics sector is distinctly divided into cement and cereals handling, and while the former market is cyclical but currently exhibiting modest growth, biomass holds significant potential for agri-bulk unloaders.

While the biomass market retains considerable potential for suppliers of pneumatic discharging systems, such as Neuero and Vigan, their core business remains the agribulk sector. Although possibly less efficient, using grabs for biomass handling tends to be the preferred solution for third-party stevedores, while power generating plants favour pneumatic discharge. There is a parallel scenario for coal handling, where stevedores employ grab unloaders while coastal power plants tend to opt for CSUs.
