Following a busy year, the UK’s ports are bracing themselves for a downturn in volumes. However, not all bulk cargoes are expected to be hit hard by the global recession.
Although unitised traffic looks set to be the traffic flow most affected by the current economic downturn, bulk imports and exports are also anticipated to show a decline, although not by as much.
