Fertiliser packing output increased

In the first six months of this year PB Kent & Co has seen an increase of more than 20% in fertiliser packing at their Immingham Dock facility, thanks it says to bagging equipment supplied by Nottinghambased Chronos Richardson.
Two E55 high accuracy bagging weighers, discharge chutes and bag holders were installed at the PB Kent & Co facility in North East Lincolnshire during the Christmas 2007 shutdown. The equipment was integrated into an upgraded bag takeaway and palletising system, which is used to pack high-quality granular fertiliser and horticultural products.
