Non-demountable rigid IBCs divide into three basic categories: steel, plastic and metal/plastic composite (a plastic bottle contained within a metal cage). Until recently highly volatile or aroma-sensitive liquids were normally carried in steel IBCs because of the superior barrier properties of this type of container.
