Investors plan new Russian harbour

Mystery investors are planning to build a new deep water harbour at the Russian White Sea port of Arkhangelsk, according to local authorities.
Due to open by 2020, the facility will have the capacity to handle 28M tpa. Its location will enable it to accommodate 70,000-80,000dwt vessels. This would be a marked improvement on the existing port, located in the North Dvina River delta, with a 9m draught restriction.
