King’s Lynn timber boost

Associated British Ports (ABP)’s Port of King’s Lynn has been handling substantial volumes of forest products following the signing of a oneyear term agreement with Swedish timber company Vida Wood AB to handle approximately 50,000 m3 of carcassing timber a year from Halmstad, Sweden.
The service is currently running monthly and the timber is destined for the Travis Perkins distribution centre located at the port and for numerous depots nationwide.
