Ljungby comes out on top
Ljungby Maskin AB (LM) has pulled off a coup by winning a competition for 12 tonne wheel loaders organised by three construction equipment newspapers in Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
The Swedish wheel loader specialist builds only around 130 machines/year- a drop in the ocean compared to, say, Cat or Volvo- but it has a reputation for reliability and durability. Of 1700 wheel loaders built since LM started making them in 1983, 1650 are still in service. There are seven models in its range, from 10 to 30 tonnes.
