Salt in the Ayr

Associated British Ports (ABP) is to develop a new salt storage and distribution centre at the Port of Ayr, Scotland, for Peacock Salt, following the signing of a long-term agreement between the two companies.

A new 3500 m2 warehouse will be built, together with 1500 m2 of outside storage, to handle Peacock's salt imports from around the world. ABP is investing around �1.5m in the new facility, which will become Peacock's primary UK location.
