Intermediate bulk containers, whether flexible (FIBCs) or rigid, are continuing to increase in popularity by adapting to new market challenges and meeting users’ environmental and safety concerns.

The market for interme diate bulk containers continues to grow with the flexible sector (bulk bags) showing slightly faster expansion. However, worldwide there are at least ten times more companies making FIBCs than there are manufacturers of rigid type IBCs, so competition within this former category remains intense.
