The development is part of OCP’s strategic development plan, with the aim of increasing its fertiliser throughput for sea freight shipping.

The project consists in a 2,000 tph conveyor line of 5 km for fertilisers and phosphates. Bedeschi will provide the engineering, design, assembling and commissioning by integrating it with the existing handling systems.

Bedeschi has also reported “another great achievement for our company” in North Africa, as the Italian company is set to provide a reclaiming system for sand, iron ore, clay for Societé des Ciments de Sour El Ghozlane in Algeria.
