Focus on post-COVID-19 bulk handling in ports

The online event will be held on 10 February 2021 at 14:00 CET on the Zoom video conferencing service.

“In these exceptionally challenging times, it is more important than ever that we understand the challenges of the port bulk sector,” said PEMA President and Chairman of the Board, Ottonel Popesco. “PEMA is dedicated to enabling greater understanding within the sector and the wider community.”

The 90-minute webinar will be based around presentations delivered by four keynote speakers. It will be moderated by Dr Pietro de Michieli, chair of PEMA’s Equipment Design and Infrastructure Committee.

Guest speakers, who will provide unique perspectives of port equipment manufacturers, include:

• Vincenzo De Falco, manager business development, LD Port & Logistics, Singapore.
• Kendrick Tang, director of sales and planning, Etihad Rail, Abu Dhabi.
• Fernando Machinena, president, Oteko Group, Moscow, Russia.
• Francesca Bonsignore, consultant associate, Rocktree, Italy.

Following the presentations, there will be an interactive Q&A session giving participants the opportunity to discuss issues raised during the presentations in greater depth.
