Terex Finlay has enhanced its 883+ heavy-duty scalping screener and now offers it with a triple shaft screenbox ideal for working in dry and sticky applications.
The company said such applications included quarry, mining, sand, gravel, construction and demolition debris and recycling.
The heart of this new model is the new triple shaft screenbox, featuring two ‘true’ full size 4.8 x 1.53m (16ft x 5ft) screening decks.
The model is available with hybrid power technology consisting of onboard electrical motors permitting the flexibility to run the plant from an outside power supply or standard onboard engine.
The triple-shaft design of the new screenbox employs an oval motion stroke to generate an aggressive screening action, reducing plugging and blinding over the screen decks to ultimately provide a quality product with high tonnage output.
New banana profile on bottom deck offers increased clearance between the bottom deck and screen drive for coarse applications whilst also adding further classification benefits at the discharge side through shallow screen angle.
Multiple media configurations including bofor bars, finger screens, woven mesh and punch plates are available for a wide range of applications, from fine screening to heavy scalping.
