New contract with Celsa Steel

Rail freight operator Freightliner Heavy Haul Ltd has started a multi-year contract with Celsa Steel UK, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of steel products.

Three trains will transport scrap metal from Dagenham to Cardiff each week for recycling.

'We look forward to bringing our new customer the reliability, flexibility and customary high service levels we promote throughout our business,' said David Israel, commercial director of Freightliner Heavy Haul.

Freightliner Heavy Haul, a division of the Freightliner Group, moves over 20 mt of bulk freight annually.
