UWL gypsum move for Rio Olympiad

With the 2016 Olympiad less than a year away, UWL said the project was especially timely and important, and represented UWL Brazil’s first bulk cargo move. The 3PL selected the 2014-built bulker in MV TR OMAHA, weighing over 36,353t, to undertake the operation.

“Our team and especially operational manager Roberto Reis, went above and beyond to get the job done and over-exceeded customer expectations,” said Roberto Prudente, vice president of UWL Brazil. “It was a necessity that the move be completed quickly and we were able to deliver on that.”
