Sany Europe has introduced two compact materials handlers, designated SMHW48G5 and SMHC48G5.
Both machines are available on rubber-tyred or crawler undercarriages and pylons with different heights can be selected.
The mobile machine has a compact wheelbase of 3.2m. The two models available in Europe are 40t/48t machines, although the global portfolio ranges from 30t to 70t.
A selection will soon be available directly on site at Sany Europe’s headquarters in Bedburg, Germany.
In addition to the standard boom at 17m in length, boom lengths of 11.5m to 20m are available, to optimise flexibility of use.
The machines are powered by Cummins QSL9 252 kW engines, which means they can maintain the required speed even at peak loads thanks to its performance reserves, said Sany.
Furthermore, the hydraulic pumps always provide exactly the performance required at the time – the best conditions for materials handling at rates up 520 tph.
Standard fittings include air conditioning, an air-suspension seat, numerous LED work spotlights, and so on. Sany said the cabin can be extended to provide an operator eye level of 6.12m above ground.
