Russia sends first grain from new Baltic terminal
NewsRussia has sent its first 12,000-tonne grain shipment from the new Lugaport terminal in Ust-Luga, aiming to boost exports via the Baltic Sea.
Although there are already eight ports in the Krasnodar region, including Russia’s largest at Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Territory Administration (KTA) has establised a new port company, Sea Trade Port of Kuban Ltd (MTPK), and has applied to the Federal Investment Fund (FIF) for support.
