Drax to cut HGV journeys and move more ash by boat

Drax Power Limited, the owner of the UK’s largest coal-fired power plant Drax Power Station, has announced that it plans to move more of its ash by boat after a successful trial saw 1200 of pulverised fuel ash (PFA) transported to Ireland by boat.
