Port of Liverpool welcomes UK’s largest whole maize vessel
NewsThe Port of Liverpool has received the UK’s largest shipment of feed maize, with 55,000 tonnes arriving from the U.S. to support local farming communities.
Woodchips exports have begun from the Tiwi Islands, located in the Torres Strait between northern Australia and Papua New Guinea. In late November, Japanese-owned DAIO PAPYRUS loaded 40,000t at the new Port Melville, destined for Japan. The Acacia plantation chips are being purchased by Mitsui Corporation under a five-year agreement.
