With the ink barely dry on Weir Group’s agreement to sell Strachan & Henshaw’s bulk materials handling division to Svedala for �2.5 mill, the Sweden-based company has itself been acquired by Finland’s Metso Corporation in a deal worth SEK13.7 bill (E1.6 bill).
