While year-end figures for soya exports at the Brazilian port of Paranaguá have yet to be published, for the first 11 months volumes were up 11.7 percent to 5.7 mt, while soya meal increased by 0.4 mt to 5.5 mt. From all reports, December set a new record, due mainly to the failure of the US soya harvest.
