NewsAn investigation has been launched following an iron ore train crash near Karratha involving a Rio Tinto autonomous train colliding with stationary wagons.
Coal price boom continues
StandardCoal prices have continued to rise strongly in both spot and term markets. Earlier this year spot coking coal prices topped US$150/t FOBT and now term business has been sealed by Xstrata with Japanese steel mills (JSM) at a price reported to be close to US$125/t FOBT.
