Cargill’s site in the port of Rotterdam’s Botlek area will expand by 28,000m² under an agreement with the port authority. Cargill operates an inland shipping jetty and a sea jetty at the site, the latter of which was relocated this year to accommodate direct access for larger ships, resulting in a simplified logistics process with fewer transport movements.
