Sandvik secures large mining automation deal with Codelco
NewsThe order is valued at approximately EUR 26,8 million and was booked in the first quarter of 2024. Sandvik will deliver a new automated Toro LH621i loader.

StandardTenova Takraf has won a contract to supply equipment to Chile’s state-owned copper mining company, Codelco. The contract covers the principal ore transport system at its Chuquicamata Underground Mine Project, which is being developed to access the ore body beneath the present open-pit mine. The new mine is scheduled to be in operation in 2019.
