The world’s first autonomous container ship is under development, to carry fertiliser along Norway’s coastal fjords by 2020. Norwegian fertiliser giant Yara joined up with compatriot shipping and offshore technology giant Kongsberg to develop and deliver the NOK400M (US$50M) electric-powered ship.
