Trade war makes for fragile bulk recovery

The first 12 weeks of the 2018/19 marketing year painted a dire picture for US soya bean exports. The trade in the 12-week period beginning 1 September totalled 11.9 Mt which was 43% lower than in the same period last season, according to Bimco.
