NYK installs first wind-assisted propulsion units
NewsNYK has equipped its bulk carrier Magritte with Econowind B.V.’s VentoFoil wind-assisted propulsion units, marking their debut on an NYK Group vessel.
Shougang inks NYK contract
StandardChina Shougang International Trade & Engineering Corporation has signed a contract with NYK for the transport of 1 mt of iron ore per year from Brazil to China over a threeyear period beginning from the second half of 2008. Caofeidian in Hebei province in China will be the main port for discharging.
