Box shortages hit soya trades

Total US soya bean exports rose by 89.3% in the first four months of the US marketing year for the commodity, which started on 1 September, compared with the 2019-20 season, while exports of containerised soya beans have ‘only’ risen by 52.2%, according to Bimco, the shipping association.
