Russia’s Pevek port to get new terminal

Russia’s authorities are to build a new bulk terminal at the Arctic Port of Pevek in the nation’s easternmost Chukotka region. Planned to begin operations in 2026, the new facility would help to expand the port’s total handling volume by a factor of five, from around 400,000 tpa currently to 2 Mtpa.
