Aggregate Industries invests in the Port of Liverpool storage

The Port of Liverpool has received the UK’s largest shipment of feed maize, with 55,000 tonnes arriving from the U.S. to support local farming communities.

The growing demand for cement and clinker in the US, Africa, and the EU may lead to a supply shortage in the Mediterranean, prompting exporters to secure import facilities.

Phil Hall, Mersey Port Director at Peel Ports Group, attributed the strong demand for port storage to poor weather impacting UK harvests, which has led to increased imports of grain and animal feed.

The company has launched a dedicated plug-in for the Building Information Modelling (BIM) REVIT software used for designing and managing construction projects.
