New grain capacity for Loviisa

The majority of Outokumpu’s stainless steel and ferrochrome operations as well as the Tornio port have been shut down since the beginning of the strike.

Outokumpu now further downgrades its guidance for the first quarter. Some impact on Boliden’s production during the second quarter is also expected.

The new Port of Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries includes facilities for containers, dry bulk, liquids and general cargo.

The port will use a US$12.6M grant to add a third berth for bulk cargoes at its Port Redwing facility.

Russia’s coal producer CoalStar is planning to build a new port some 100 km east of the county’s largest Pacific harbour of Vladivostok. The new facility would have a total cargo handling capacity of 35 Mtpa, including 25 Mtpa of coal and 10 Mtpa of crude oil.
