Argentina to invest USD 550 million in grain port
NewsArgentina ranks among the world’s leading grain exporters, with numerous ports lining the banks of the Parana River for the shipment of agricultural products.
Two Argentine companies, Alimentos Sagemuller SA (ASSA) and the local daughter company of French group Louis Dreyfuss, have agreed to bring the river port of Puerto Piedras, 60 km north of Parana in Entre Rios province, back into operation. It will be used primarily for the export of soybeans.
