As if to compound the Port of Prince Rupert’s problems, caused mainly by declining forest industry exports, Sulphur Corporation of Canada Ltd (SCC) , which was building a sulphur handling facility on ground leased from coal operator Ridley Terminals, collapsed in June this year leaving the facility 80 percent complete.
