German agribusiness up and down


The Port of Hamburg handled 6.75 mt of suction cargoes in 2001, a steep decline compared with the previous year when nearly 7.8 mt were handled. The drop was caused largely by a steep drop in grain exports down 43 percent on the previous year to 2.039 mt.
