Cameroon rail tender

A tender to construct a new iron ore railway in Cameroon has been launched. The 510 km line and associated Atlantic Ocean port is expected to cost around US$4B to construct and would be available for use by a number of mining companies in the region, including Australia’s Sundance Resources, which is developing the Mbalam deposit in Cameroon, close to the border with Congo-Brazzaville.
