Volga acquires Sukhodol stake

Russian coal producer Siberian Business Union (SDS) has sold a 50% stake in Sukhodol Seaport, the vehicle it formed to develop a 20 Mtpa coal terminal on Russia’s Pacific coast, to Volga Group (VG). VG is one of Russia’s largest investment firms, which is controlled by Russo-Finnish businessman Gennady Timchenko.
