California Governor Gray Davis has signed legislation that will speed up the enclosure of most open petcoke piles at the Port of Long Beach, as well as the replacement of a shiploader and conveyor system at the port’s Pier G dry bulk terminal, operated by Metropolitan Stevedoring.
