StandardTraditionally, the crushing and drying of slag and dross produced in steel-making takes place at the mill site and it is then shipped as raw material to the cement and other industries. However, two leading French cement companies, Calcia and Lafarge, have come up with a new solution which has enabled them to process large quantities of slag on one site using modern and environment-friendly techniques.
