Impsa books grab unloader for Brazil

Argentina-based Impsa has booked an order for a 50t (grab plus load) gantry grab unloader from Consórcio de Aluminio do Maranhão (Alumar) for handling bauxite ore as well as coal and coke at its new terminal in São Luis de Maranhão in Brazil. The facility comprises a 225m long berth with a depth of 10.9m (to be increased to 11.5m), suitable for handling ships up to 65,000 dwt.
