NewsAn investigation has been launched following an iron ore train crash near Karratha involving a Rio Tinto autonomous train colliding with stationary wagons.

StandardAustralia is to become an even larger iron ore supplier as BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto ramp up production in the Pilbara region from existing and new mines that could see their combined output from the region reaching 620 mtpa by 2022.
