Fortescue, Liebherr ink US$ 2.8b green equipment deal
NewsFortescue and Liebherr have signed a deal for zero-emission mining machines, marking Liebherr’s largest equipment contract and Fortescue’s biggest partnership.
Bulking up on mobile cranes
Standard2011 was a good year for Liebherr mobile harbour cranes (MHCs). Sales were the second best on record, and the LHM 420 was successfully introduced as the replacement for the LHM 400. The LHM 420 slots in between the LHM 280 and the LHM 550, which replaced the LHM 500 in 2010 (although LHM 320s are still being sold).
