Brazil floods threaten grain exports and economy

Brazil’s environmental agency (Ibama) has granted a provisional licence to Ferrous Resources do Brasil for the construction of a 400km-long mineral duct linking Viga mine in Congonhas, Minas Gerais, to Presidente Kennedy, which is situated on the southern coastline of Espírito Santo state, where the company plans to build a new port to handle outbound minerals.
